Samsung Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A51, and Galaxy A70 receiving September 2020 security update

Samsung Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A51, and Galaxy A70 are getting a new software update, which brings new security patches released in September 2020.

The software versions of the Galaxy A21s, Galaxy A51, and Galaxy A70 are A217FXXU3ATH4, A515FXXS3BTH4, and A705FNXXU5BTH4 respectively. It should soon be available to other markets. The latest software update doesn’t bring anything other than the improved security patch.

To update the version on your device, you will need to have a minimum battery charge of 20%. You may be prompted to update when it’s available, otherwise, system updates can be done over a Wi-Fi connection or with the Software Upgrade Assistant.

To manually check for updates, navigate to Settings > System update. If your system is up-to-date, you don’t need to do anything further. Otherwise, tap Download and install to update your phone.
