Samsung Galaxy S20 series is getting September 2020 security patch

After the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung now started rolling out the September 2020 security patch to the Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra smartphones.

The software versions of their updates are G981U1UES1BTH4, G986U1UES1BTH4, and G988U1UES1BTH4 for Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra respectively, and currently rolling out in the USA. It should soon be available in other regions.

Apart from the security patch, the latest software update doesn’t bring any other features. You can also expect a few minor bug fixes.

If you have the Galaxy device and want to check for the latest software update manually, just take your phone and open the device Settings and tap on the Software update menu.
