Samsung has now started rolling out the September 2020 security patch to the Galaxy Fold, and Galaxy Z Flip. The company also expand the rollout of the September 2020 update for the Galaxy S20 series in more regions.

The Galaxy Fold and Galaxy Z Flip are receiving the software version F900FXXS4BTH2 and F700FTBS2BTI1 respectively. Which is currently rolling out in India and should soon be available in other regions.

In addition, the company started the September 2020 security patch rollout to the Galaxy S20 series in some regions, which is now extended to more markets. It is now available for the LET and 5G variants.

If you have any of the above devices and want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings, tap on the Software update menu and go for the Download and install option.

Samsung is rolling out a fresh update for the Galaxy A55 smartphone, which installs the latest Android security patch released in June 2024. The new update improves system security and stability to provide a better user experience.

June 2024 patch fixes over 55 vulnerabilities including those affecting the grid image display, battery statistics services, call verification, the Samsung Dialer app, and more.

To check for software updates manually, head toward your phone’s Settings. At the bottom, you will get the Software Update section, simply open it. Inside the submenu, you need to hit the Download and Install button if your Galaxy fetches a new OTA.

Samsung has updated a bunch of Galaxy devices to June 2024 security patch and now it is the turn of the Galaxy A14 5G smartphone. The company is rolling out a fresh software update Galaxy A14 smartphone in Brazil.

The fresh update of the Samsung Galaxy A14 installs the June 2024 security patch to improve system security and stability. It arrives with One UI build version A146MUBS5CXF3 in Brazil.

June 2024 security patch fixes 37 significant vulnerabilities within the Android operating system and addresses 22 specific issues related to Samsung’s software. It improves the overall performance of the device.

It is an initial rollout so it may take some hours or days to reach all models. We recommend you install the update immediately if you have received the notification of the update.

To install the latest update, you need to go to Settings of your phone and enter its Software update section. Simply tap on the Download and Install option and the available update will appear on the screen.

Samsung is also working on the next iterations of the One UI i.e. One UI 6.1.1 and One UI 7.0. A community moderator recently mentioned that the next One UI 6.1 update is equivalent to the One UI 6.1.1. It is expected to be a major update, which will bring significant enhancements.
