Verizon sending 5G Nationwide access to its Galaxy A71 in the U.S. with October 2020 security patch
Samsung Galaxy A71 5G devices locked on Verizon carriers getting a new software update. This update brings 5G support of the carrier and the latest One UI security patch.
According to the official information, a new update for Verizon’s Galaxy A71 5G install the 5G Nationwide access in the coverage area. This update comes with a software version of A716VSQU1BTJ2, brings October 2020 security patch too.

Verizon the a major network service provider of the United States. Its 5G Nationwide support is available in 1,800+ cities in the country. After installing this update whenever you enter in Verizon’s 5G Nationwide coverage area you will see a 5G icon on the network icon.
You can check for the latest software update manually:
- Tap Settings > Software update > Download and install.
- Wait for the device to check for updates.
- Tap OK > Start.
- When the restart message appears, tap OK.
