The Galaxy S20 FE offers users a premium experience from the very first moment of unboxing. It equipped with a super-smooth display, an AI-powered camera, a large-capacity battery, and a premium design.

Samsung Newsroom took a look inside the box to see what the Galaxy S20 FE has to offer users.

First Impressions: Colorful Look, Luxurious Feel

The Galaxy S20 FE comes in a crisp white box. The huge “S20” that cuts across the top matches the color of the phone inside – Cloud Navy for this unboxing – which is a nice detailing touch. You’ll found the handset, a charging adaptor and its cable.

The entire line-up of Galaxy S20 FE devices has been designed based on the color preferences of fans. Cloud Lavender and Cloud Mint are softer, pastel hues, while Cloud Navy and Cloud White are chic, minimalistic shades and Cloud Red is a warm, statement color option. The five different color hues provide a wider range of options for users who want their phones to reflect their personalities.

The rear body of the Galaxy S20 FE has been finished with a Haze technique for a matt and luxurious feel. The Haze-finished body also minimizes fingerprints and smudges. The steel material applied to the side differs according to which shade of device is chosen. To ensure consistency, both the side of the device and the camera have the same material applied for a premium finish.

The Display

The Galaxy S20 FE has been equipped with a 6.5-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED flat display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, which truly showcases its capabilities when used for entertainment or video chatting.

Its bezel-less design of the full screen is eye-catching. The diameter of the front-facing camera hole has been reduced to 3.34 mm – the smallest among all current Galaxy devices. The higher refresh rate provides a seamless and fluid experience when you are surfing the web, browsing social media, and streaming videos.

The Camera

The powerful 32 mega-pixel front-facing camera features tetra-binning technology, which combines four pixels into one to ensure sharp and vivid selfies anytime, anywhere. The Galaxy S20 FE is targeted in particular at those Millennial and Gen Z users who enjoy taking selfies and video chatting. Moreover, its front-facing camera is capable of capturing videos of UHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160).

Furthermore, the rear triple-lens camera features a 12 MP main camera, 12 MP ultra-wide camera, and an 8 MP telephoto camera. The Galaxy S20 FE features the largest dual pixel image sensor of all the current Galaxy series devices, helping you take the most colorful pictures possible in low-light environments.

Space Zoom lets you take photos with up to 3x optical zoom without undermining the picture quality and up to 30x super-resolution zoom.

The Performance

Samsung Galaxy S20 FE is able to provide a seamless, smooth, and powerful experience. It is equipped with a 4,500 mAh battery that provides you with powerful device performance throughout the day.

Built-in collaboration with the fans, the Galaxy S20 FE presents users with a variety of features that function just as they would on other Galaxy flagship models. Going forward, Samsung will continue to provide a differentiated device line-up that puts fans right at the center of every part of the development process.

Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy reveals Samsung’s bold flagship redesign

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Dummy

Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy leak reveals the nearly final design of Samsung’s next big flagship. After CAD renders, we now have a closer look at the refined new design of the Ultra flagship, which will give sleepless nights to Apple.

Onleaks posted a set of Galaxy S25 Ultra dummy models. The flagship can be seen with its refined design, which makes the corner slightly rounded. The Z Fold6-inspired camera rings also elevate the rear panel’s appearance, making it appealing.

There are three major changes in the body design of Samsung’s next Ultra flagship. The first is the frame, which is getting flatter like the iPhone. Second is rounded corners, that are not that rounded like S24/S25, and third is textured camera rings.

Notably, the dummy units don’t show a close look at the bezels. However, this aspect is expected to be improved over the previous generations. Minimal symmetrical bezels will present an appealing look on the phone’s front side.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra is slimmer than the Galaxy S24 Ultra. The S Pen compartment resists on the frame’s bottom, accompanied by the primary microphone, USB C-Type port, speaker grille, and SIM card tray.

The right side of the frame features volume adjustment buttons and a side key. The power button can be configured to trigger a digital assistant. The fingerprint scanner will be featured as an in-screen solution with faster and more reliable recognition.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy S25 series in late January next year.

Samsung dreams new camera with longer battery, less noise

Published

Camera Sensor

A new patent suggests Samsung working on next-gen camera tech that could save battery and crush lens process noise. The company has recently unveiled the All Lenses on Prism telephoto solution for thinner and sleeker zoom cameras.

Since smartphone camera modules get more advanced, a lot of processing power is required to finish the tasks. That said, Samsung is crafting even more advanced camera modules that save battery and reduce noise.

Enter Samsung’s new patent, which introduces a power-saving sub-processor. This clever little chip would handle all the extra camera tasks—like reducing noise from the OIS lens movements and managing the EIS algorithms.

It will reduce the burden of the main processor so it can focus on the actual photo-taking. At the time your device is in a sleep or power-saving state, the sub-processor keeps running quietly in the background, consuming minimal power.

If the technology is used, you will have less noise in camera operations, smoother performance, and better battery life. At the same time, you won’t lose your favorite camera features, but your smartphone will last longer between charges.

A look ahead

The development shows Samsung’s innovative approach. Other than upgrading camera sensors, the company is also working on improvements to the technology that works behind the scenes and makes a great impact on performance and efficiency.

Samsung often registers new patent applications to secure designs and innovations. However, it’s uncertain that a patented technology would surely be commercialized. Tech firms have thousands of approved patents that never get produced.
