Galaxy Note 20 series getting a new software update with camera performance improvements

Samsung is now rolling out a new software update to the Galaxy Note 20 series users. It comes with the improved camera performance and October 2020 security patch. This could be an update for some markets that Samsung rolling out ahead of the One UI 3.0 beta testing.

According to the changelog, it improved the camera usability and device security. The size of this update is more than 300MB.

This update is currently rolling out in Korea and UAE, but expect it to available in more regions in the coming days.

Galaxy Note 20 5G: N981NKSU1ATJ1/N981BXXU1ATJ1

Galaxy Note 20 Ultra 5G: N986NKSU1ATJ1/N986BXXU1ATJ1

If you want to check for the update manually, just head into the device Settings, select the Software update menu, and tap on the Download and install option.

  • Application of stabilization code related to terminal operation
  • Device security-related stabilization code applied
