Samsung is already started working on Android-11 based One UI 3.0 for general users and started One UI 3.0 beta testing in several countries for Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series. But as we know, the carrier locked devices have to wait a little longer than usual to get the update from the carrier.

T-Mobile is one of the top carriers in the U.S. that provides a number of Samsung devices, recently, some of the Galaxy S20 and Note 10 series users reporting on the community forum of the carrier that their smartphone’s Phone app “com.android.phone keeps stopping”.

T-Mobile Galaxy S20 and Note 10 series users are facing this issue after a recent OTA update. Several users reported the same error, they also tried to clear app data of the Phone app but the issue didn’t fix. Some of the users done a factory reset to solve the big problem but it is just a temporary solution. After some time of resetting the device, the same problem started again.

Temporary Solutions:

  1. You can use the Google Phone app until a fix update arrives.
  2. Aside from changing phone apps, you can register for the One UI 3.0 beta program and update your device to the beta version to resolve the issue.
  3. These issues arrive after September and October 2020 security patch update, so you can roll back to the August 2020 security update using Odin, but it’s a critical way to roll back your device.

It is still unclear why these problems occurred, and the T-Mobile carrier has not responded to this yet. Are you facing the same issue? Let us know in the comments below.
