Google Play October system update is now available for the Galaxy S20
Samsung’s top-end smartphones, the Galaxy S20 series receiving the latest Google Play security update that mainly addresses security issues in the phone’s application system and increases system stability.
Samsung smartphones receive monthly and quarterly software updates that include a different level of security patches to improve system security against data and privacy threats.

Since every Samsung smartphone runs Android and is Google Play Protect certified, they’re eligible to receive Google Play security updates too.
However, Google Play security updates are somewhat different from general security patches and increase devices fighting ability against malicious apps and keep a watch on how they accessing your phone’s data.

- Open Settings
- Select Biometrics and security
- Tap on Google Play system update
- Here you can check your phone’s Google Play security update version and also Check for update.
