T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ getting October 2020 security patch
T-Mobile started sending a new software update to Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ devices in the U.S. The phones locked on the carrier receiving October 2020 security patch for improved device security.
According to the changelog, apart from the October 2020 security patch, the latest update doesn’t bring any new features.
Software versions:
- N970USQS4DTJ1 – T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10
- N975USQS4DTJ1 – T-Mobile Galaxy Note 10+
Other carriers in the country like Verizon and unlocked variants of the Galaxy Note 10 series also updated to the latest security patch released in October 2020.
If you have a Galaxy Note 10 series device, you can check for the latest software update manually by heading to the Settings app and go to Software update > Download and install.
