Recently, Samsung has launched the Galaxy S20 FE that is an affordable device of its Galaxy S flagship series. The company has not started the Android 11/One UI 3.0 development yet for this device.

Global unlocked variants of Galaxy S20 FE already received the latest security patch update and later an additional update that improves touchscreen experience. But the T-Mobile carrier of the U.S. didn’t roll out any update for its locked Galaxy S20 FE devices.

Following this delay, A Galaxy S20 FE user from the U.S. spoke with Samsung and T-Mobile’s customer support about the update status of his device. According to the user, the company representative told that some unlocked Galaxy S20 FE users facing force closures of some services and apps as well as occasionally shutdown issues on the T-Mobile carrier. So the T-Mobile carrier doesn’t start the rollout of the October 2020 security patch.

However, the support didn’t mention any other date, when the update will actually rollout.

One UI is the custom skin of Samsung which is based on Android OS. The latest version of One UI is coming for several eligible devices. Aside from this, some Galaxy S20 and Note 20 series users already testing the One UI 3.0 beta version before its stable launch.
