Samsung Galaxy M31 receiving One UI 2.5 update with latest features

Samsung is now sending the One UI 2.5 update for its Galaxy M31 devices along with the October 2020 security patch.

This latest firmware brings October 2020 security patch along with added features to the Samsung keyboard and messages. It also improves the quality and stability of the camera. The update comes with the software version M315FXXU2ATJ9.

According to the release note of the update, It adds a new feature to the Samsung keyboard that will now support the split keyboard on landscape mode. The message will now allow users to send SOS location-sharing message every 30 minutes for 24 hours.

To check for the update manually on your device go to settings > Software Update > then tap on Download and install.

The Galaxy M31 was last updated three months ago as the July security patch. This device is currently listed for getting quarterly security updates. And it is also eligible to get the upcoming Android 11 based One UI 3.0.
