Galaxy S21 Ultra gets NFC certificate, Exynos 1080 also appears on Bluetooth SIG
Samsung is moving forward to add three more smartphones to the S-lineup, tentatively called Galaxy S21 series. The lineup likely to include three variants and just recently a leak suggests that the company could launch its upcoming flagship in mid-January next year.
Under the latest development in this story, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is spotted on the NFC certification site with the model number SM-G998U, which confirms that the smartphone will come with NFC support. However, the certification does not hint about any other features of the device.
Moreover, Samsung’s upcoming 5nm based Exynos chipset, Exynos 1080 also received the Bluetooth SIG certification and it is said to be launch on November 12.
Compared to previous launch schedules, Samsung will rush the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 series and make it in January 2021. The phone is likely to come with 5nm Snapdragon and Exynos chipsets.
All three models of the Galaxy S21 features new camera setups and a new camera design on the back with well finish materials. Furthermore, the render leak reveals that only the Ultra model will sport a curved edge display and the rest will offer flat panel.
