Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series owners facing battery drain issue after Verizon 5G support update

In the battery department, the Galaxy Note 20 packs a 4300mAh battery, while the top variant Galaxy Note 20 Ultra comes with a large 4500mAh all-day battery and recharges with a 25W super-fast charger.

Last month, one of the top carriers of the U.S., Verizon has rolled out 5G Nationwide connectivity update for all the carrier-locked 5G capable smartphones of Samsung.

After the recent firmware update, some of the Galaxy Note 20 series owners facing battery draining issues with their phones in the country. The battery performance has dropped to nearly 20-30% compared to before.

Furthermore, the Galaxy Note 20 series owners complaining about the network speed after the recent software update since getting the 5G update in mid-October, data speeds were the same on 5G as 4G in the United States.

It is still unclear why these issues are occurring to the most expensive Samsung smartphones. We hope, the carrier and Samsung should immediately acknowledge this problem and roll out a fix with an OTA.
