[UPDATE: Rolling out in India] Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 gets another new feature of the Galaxy Watch 3

Samsung has begun sending a new software update for the Galaxy Watch Active 2 in India. It comes with build version R820XXU1CTJ5 that brings a bunch of new features. You can check the complete changelog given below.

- If exercising with a watch, the voice guide is provided via a headset connected to the mobile device.
- Add a voice guidance about cumulative data and heart rate to the Auto Lap of Running/Cycling.
- UX update (A second hand will not be shown on AOD screen.)

Previously, Samsung rolled out an update that brought new health, communication, and connectivity features including a new running coach, running analysis, VO2 measurement, and fall detection to the Galaxy Watch Active 2, some of these features come directly from Galaxy Watch 3.
The company is now rolling out a new software update for Watch Active 2 with a set of new features that provides users one more feature of the Galaxy Watch 3.
According to the information, this update is initially rolling out in South Korea with a firmware version of R820XXU1CTJ5 and weighs around 60MB. It will take the Galaxy Watch Active 2 to the next level. After updating the wearable with this update, it lets the Galaxy Watch provide voice guidance to the user during exercise over a paired headset.
With the latest update, the smart wearable will also provide helpful tips to you when you are doing exercise. Moreover, voice guidance also added for the expanded distance and heart rate when you are running or your biking activity.
Furthermore, the watch is also getting minor changes to the user interface. When the Always-on-Display function has set, the second hand will not be displayed. Also, the update improves the stability of the device and enhances the performance of the software.
This update surely has some big improvement and features for the Galaxy Watch Active 2 features. Currently, it’s actually limited to some markets and it’ll soon expand to more users.
