Samsung Galaxy M30 and Galaxy A30 receiving October 2020 security update

Many Galaxy devices have already received the October 2020 security patch and now the company is rolling out this update for more of its Galaxy A and M series smartphones.

The Galaxy A30 and Galaxy M30 smartphones are now collecting the October 2020 security patch for improved security and stability of the device. The update comes with the build versions: M305FDDU6CTK1 for Galaxy M30 and A305FDDU6BTJ2 for the Galaxy A30 smartphones.

According to the changelog this new firmware includes device improvements, bug fixes, new and enhanced features, and further improvements to the performance.

To check for the updates on your Galaxy device go to Settings > Software Update > then tap on Download and install.
