Samsung Galaxy A42 spotted on Google Play Console, reveals Snapdragon 750G chipset

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy A42 smartphone in September this year. The company revealed all the information about the features and specs of the device except the chipset.

According to the latest information, the processor of the Galaxy A42 is spotted on Google Play Console. This smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 750G SoC which is indeed a 5G processor.

Also, there are other information about the device revealed in the Google Play Console listing which suggests that it will have an HD+ display with a resolution of 1,600 x 720 and 8GB of RAM.

The Galaxy A42 smartphone will come with a 6.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED display with a waterdrop notch. It has a 5000mAh massive battery with a 15W fast charging.

This smartphone equips a quad-camera setup with a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 5MP lens for depth, and a 5MP macro camera. In the front, it has a 20MP camera for selfies. For security, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner.

The other features of the Galaxy A42 include Dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and USB Type C port. The device measures 75.9mm x 164.4mm x 8.6mm and weighs 190g. The expected launch date of the device is November 20, 2020, although it is not yet confirmed by the company.
