Samsung Exynos 2100 will be more powerful than the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset
Samsung uses its own Exynos chipsets in most of its Galaxy devices. But until now these processors haven’t got any support from the customers and also criticized by many for their performance. Many users also demanded to exclude these chips from the flagship devices.
Compared to Qualcomm, the Exynos processors aren’t able to deliver the performance as per the expectations but this could change with Samsung’s upcoming processors. And for the first time, we will encounter more power efficiency and performance from Exynos against Snapdragon.
According to the latest leak from tipster IceUniverse, the upcoming Exynos 2100 will be faster than the Snapdragon 875 SoC. We will be seeing both of these processors in Samsungs upcoming Galaxy S21 series that will provide many clear insights for them.

As per the previous reports, Samsung will make many changes in this processor including the 5nm based EUV process. This chipset is expected to feature a new Cortex-X1 CPU core, three Cortex-A78 cores, four Cortex-A55 CPU Cores, and the Mali-G78 GPU. With Exynos 2100, the company will put an end to its Custome CPU cores that results in low power efficiency.
Samsung also recently launched a new Exynos 1080 5G processor that will be powering the mid-range smartphones. Built on the 5-nanometer the Exynos is designed to manage performance-intensive tasks with ease. It is based on tri-cluster architecture, the CPU of the processor consists of one Arm Cortex-A78 cores and four Cortex-A55 cores for efficiency and multitasking.
It is yet to see what Samsung will bring in its upcoming Exynos processor that will make its debut with the Galaxy S21 line up and if this new SoC will be up to expectation.
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S21 line up which is expected to launch in mid-January 2021 will pack many high-end features along with Exynos 2100 chipset.
