Having camera issue on your Galaxy S20 device? Here’s what to do
The Galaxy S20 is the latest flagship from Samsung that offers many new premium features such as a Dynamic AMOLED display, a powerful octa-core processor with 5G connectivity, and more.
Recently some users of Galaxy S20 are facing trouble with the camera app on their smartphone. According to these users, when they try to open camera apps or any other apps with camera functionality, it shows an error.
After applying many efforts such as troubleshooting steps the problem remains unfixed. Users then reported this error on the community page of Samsung which then provided considerable solutions such as wiping the system cache partition and booting the device in the safe mode.

If you are also facing this issue on your Galaxy S20 smartphone then you can also try these solutions with the help of the steps given below.
Wiping system cache partition:
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Bixby/Power key.
- When the Android logo displays, release both keys.
- An ‘Installing system update’ message may show briefly before the Android Recovery menu options appear.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight the Wipe cache partition.
- Press Bixby/Power key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight Yes, then press the Bixby/Power key to select.
- When the process is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Bixby/Power key to restart the device.
If the above-mentioned solution doesn’t fix this then you can also try testing the camera in safe mode. If the camera works in this mode that means this error is caused by any of the third-party apps. For the safe mode follow these steps:
Safe Mode:
- Turn the device off.
- Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen.
- When “SAMSUNG” appears on the screen, release the Power key.
- Immediately after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
- Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
- Safe mode will display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
- Release the Volume down key when you see Safe Mode.
- To exit Safe Mode, restart your device.
