Samsung patents a new Z-shaped foldable device with two hinges
Samsung currently has two different types of foldable devices, that are Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold. And now according to a new patent the South Korean tech giant is planning for a multi-foldable electronic device.
Samsung recently filed a new patent with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) for its upcoming foldable device.
The patented design shows a foldable phone with Z shaped folding system. The phone will have three display parts folding against each other with the help of two hinges.

The smartphone will be folded in a way that one of the three screens will appear on the top. The screen of the device will be more flexible and as rumored the company may use UTG (Under Thin Glass) display technology in these smartphones.
According to a previous report, Samsung is planning to introduce several new devices in its Galaxy Fold lineup next year. These new phones could come with new and innovative features such as UTG display, S-Pen functionality, and more.
Since its a design patent there is no information available about its specs or the status of its production.
