Samsung Galaxy Note 9, S9, and S9 Plus receiving November update [Verizon]

Verizon is now rolling out a new software update for Samsung Galaxy S9, S9 Plus, and Note 9 devices, this latest update brings November 2020 security patch for better system security. Previously, Verizon also provided a new upgrade for the Galaxy S20 FE

This new firmware installs the latest security in these smartphones improves system security and device stability. Despite the security improvements, this update does not add any new features to these devices. You can check the build versions for these phones below.

G965USQS8FTJ6- Galaxy S9 Plus

N960USQS5FTJ6- Galaxy Note 9

The same November 2020 security improvements are also being rolled out for the Galaxy A10e smartphones in the US. This update for the Galaxy A10e devices is rolled out with the build version A102USQU8BTJ5. The changelog for all the devices is the same.

If you are from the US and chosen Verizon as your network service provider then you can check for the updates manually on your Galaxy devices by following the steps given below:

  • Go to Settings
  • Software Updates
  • Then click on Download and install
