Here’s the temporary solution of One UI Home launcher crashing after One UI 3.0 beta

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series smartphones have started receiving the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 beta update before a few days in South Korea and UK. Following its release, several users have reported having severe battery consumption and phone overheating issues.

Moving on this, Samsung has suspended the beta rollout until the issues been solved. Just recently, the company has started sending the One UI 3.0 Beta 2 for the Galaxy Note 10 users in its home country and the first beta for Indian consumers.

One UI 3.0: Home Screen

Meanwhile, testing the beta for these devices, some of the Galaxy Note 10 users reported bugs with the system launcher. One UI 3.0 beta testers facing crashing issues with One UI home launcher, the system launcher crashes and shows an error message on the screen and when the users try to open the app drawer it does not bring any apps.

Considering this matter, Samsung staff members brought some temporary solutions that might be helpful to fix these issues.

Before following the steps given below, update the system apps and One UI Home launcher via Galaxy Store to match One UI 3.0, after the One UI 3.0 beta update.

  1. Settings > Applications
  2. Click the Sort icon at the right side of the app list
  3. Select the System Apps display option.
  4. After selecting the One UI Home app, open the storage options of One UI Home
  5. Delete the app data and cache
  6. Delete the cache in the same way for the Samsung Experience Service app.
  7. Delete the cache in the same way as the System UI.
  8. Delete the cache in recovery mode.

Note: It is not an officially reported error of the OS itself. This kind of error that occurs per app can be solved by this method.
