As reported previously Samsung had registered a patent with the World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO) for its upcoming foldable device. The patent revealed that the South Korean tech giant is planning for a different type of foldable smartphone that is capable of folding from two different sides and will have three displays.

The same design is now spotted on the official website of Samsung’s subsidiary, Samsung Displays that hints that the company is literally working on the subject. The site shows a 3D render of the folding smartphone that can be folded from two sides as mentioned in the patent.

With this new multi-foldable display technology, this device will offer a wider screen for easy multitasking and other stuff such as surfing the internet and watching movies or TV shows, etc.

The phone will be folded in a way that one of the three screens will appear on the top. The screen of the device will be more flexible and as rumored the company may use UTG (Under Thin Glass) display technology in these smartphones.

Until now there is no such confirmation about this next-generation foldable phone from Samsung but we can possibly see such a design from the company in the upcoming days.
