1. Galaxy A31/M51 getting One UI 2.5 update
Currently, the One UI 2.5 is the latest stable version of Samsung’s custom skin. Now, many impressive features with the One UI 2.5 update is rolling out to the Galaxy A31 and Galaxy M51 phones. 3. Galaxy S10 One UI 3.0 beta testers aren’t able to roll back to Android 10
Samsung One UI 3.0 beta has also been reported for some errors and one of them is the compatibility of system apps. According to the latest information, some One UI 3.0 beta participants of the Galaxy S10 series smartphones have tried to switch to the Android 10 based One UI 2.5 version because of some problems regarding battery drain and lagging. App Protection

You can easily enable it through Settings >> Device Care >> App Protection>> Turn it on.

Auto Blocker
Auto Blocker offers various security features to protect user privacy. It prevents your device from downloading applications from suspicious sources without first confirming to the user. It also blocks commands that enter the device via the USB port.
To turn on this amazing feature, you just need to visit the Settings app >> Security Privacy >> Auto Blocker function >> Tap on the toggle to turn it on.

Maintenance Mode
Maintenance Mode is a very useful feature that safeguards personal data during device repair. This feature allows service technicians to access the necessary functions of the phone without exposing any personal information.
The mode also ensures that applications installed by the user are not removed. Any data or accounts created while in Maintenance Mode will be automatically deleted once the mode is turned off.
To activate, open Settings on your device >> tap on Device Care >> Maintenance Mode >> turn on the feature >>restart the device to secure personal data.

Pin App
Sometimes, sharing photos or videos with friends or family can lead to unintended privacy violations if they accidentally access other apps or view personal message notifications on your device.
For that, Samsung‘s One UI has a “Pin App” feature, which lets users lock a single app onto the screen, preventing access to other apps and protecting notification content.
You can easily turn it on by opening Settings >> Security Privacy >> More Security Settings >> Turn on the Pin App option >> Select the Recents icon next to Home >> Select the icon above the desired application >> Select “Pin this app” option.

It’s July 2023 and Samsung has revealed the details of the latest security patch on the scope page. Along with this, the company has also published the revised list of monthly and quarterly update plans for July 2024 for Samsung devices.
July 2024 security patch aims to enhance the system security, stability, and reliability of the devices. Every month, Samsung makes changes to its software update plan with some devices being added, some being demoted, and some being removed
According to the official information, Samsung’s July 2024 plan promises Monthly Security updates for 38 Galaxy devices, Quarterly Security Updates for 69 devices, and biannual security Updates for 34 devices.

As we enter the 2nd day of July 2024, Samsung has unveiled details of its newest security patch for Galaxy devices. This update aims to enhance security and performance, however, the rollout is yet to start.
July 2024 Security Maintenance Release (SMR) combines patches from Google and Samsung. Google brings fixes for 4 critical and 21 high-level vulnerabilities in Android, although 2 are not applicable to Samsung devices.
Moreover, Samsung has resolved 33 Samsung Vulnerabilities and Exposures (SVE) to further improve device security. These SVE items are mainly related to One UI Home, System Property, System UI, Filter Provider, Secure Folder, Configuration Message, IMS service, Knox, MTP app, and more.
This time, Samsung’s semiconductor patch also introduces fixes for 2 high-level CVEs specific to their hardware.
