WhatsApp rolling out advanced chat wallpapers and sticker search improvements via new update

A few weeks ago, we’ve informed you that WhatsApp is developing a new feature that will allow you to set different wallpapers for every chat. And now, WhatsApp started rolling out a new update related to chat wallpapers for WhatsApp Android.

With the advanced chat wallpapers feature, you can apply a different wallpaper for each chat. This new feature adds color variants of the original doodle wallpaper, several new nature and architecture wallpapers, and different wallpapers for light and dark mode.

Currently, this update is releasing for limited users and will soon be available for every WhatsApp user in the coming days/weeks.

Aside from the new wallpapers feature, this update also brings improvements to the sticker search function of WhatsApp. With the enhanced sticker search feature, it will perform better and will allow you to search for stickers with text or emoji. Adding to this, the World’s Health Organization’s “Together at Home” sticker pack also added as animated stickers.
