Samsung Galaxy S10 will receive One UI 3.0/Android 11 in January 2021
While many OEMs releasing the Android 11 upgrade to their eligible smartphones, Samsung is also working on providing the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 for its eligible Galaxy devices. The South Korean tech giant initially started the One UI 3.0 beta program with the Galaxy S20 series devices in October 2020 for several countries including the US, South Korea, India, Germany, Poland, UK, and China.
Following the S20 series, Samsung also opened the One UI 3.0/Android 11 beta program for the Galaxy Note 20 lineup, which allows its users to test the latest features ahead of the public release. Later on, Samsung expanded the One UI 3.0 beta for other flagships including Galaxy Z Fold 2 and Galaxy Z Flip as well as older flagships – Galaxy S10 and Note 10 models.
Samsung Galaxy S10e, S10, and S10+ smartphones have already received the first One UI 3.0 beta in South Korea, India, and UK. The company will also provide a chance to test this beta program for these devices in the US, Germany, Poland, and China.
One UI 3.0 is based on Android 11 that comes with a number of new changes in the user interface that reflects on the notification panel, app drawer, Settings menu, lock screen, and for improved the user experience.
Now Samsung has officially confirmed that the Galaxy S10 series users will receive the Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update starting January 2021. However, there is also a possibility of the early rollout for these devices.
