Samsung Galaxy Fold receiving December 2020 security update

Samsung is now improving the security of the Galaxy Fold devices by sending the December 2020 security patch via OTA. This new firmware can be identified with the build version: F907BXXS4CTK1.

The latest software update for the Galaxy Fold installs the latest One UI security patches and brings system stability improvements. Adding to this, it also enhances the system features for a better user experience as well as fixes for some bugs.

It is currently rolling out in some European countries including Germany and expected to expand in the other countries in the coming days/weeks.

Aside from the regular security updates, Samsung is also working to provide Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update to the Galaxy Fold devices. As per the official update schedule, these foldable will get the latest features and improvements with the One UI 3.0 update starting January 2021.

One UI 3.0 is based on Android 11 that comes with a number of new changes in the user interface that reflects on the notification panel, app drawer, Settings menu, lock screen, and for improved the user experience.
