T-Mobile’s Galaxy Note 10 picking up December 2020 security patch
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series has already started collecting the December 2020 security patch earlier this month. And now, the carrier bounded Galaxy Note 10 models started receiving the latest security update in the US.
According to the latest information, T-Mobile locked Samsung Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G are getting new firmware updates with December 2020 security patch. It fixes two critical, and 18 high-level exploits and CVEs.

This new firmware update carries build versions N971USQS5DTKA, N975USQS5DTKA, and N976USQS5DTKA for the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G respectively.
The update log of this latest update for the Galaxy Note 10 series doesn’t mention except the security improvements. Meanwhile, it enhances various system functions as well as system stability.
What about the Android 11 update?
Samsung is all set to start releasing stable Android 11 based One UI 3.0 update for the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10+, and Note 10+ 5G starting January next year. Besides, the company is also bringing the beta testing program to start experiencing plenty of new features of the One UI 3.0 before its public rollout.

- Owned a T-Mobile branded Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series smartphone in the US?
- Check for the latest update notification.
- If the notification doesn’t arrive at you then check for it manually.
- Visit Settings > Software updates > Download and install.
