Latest Android 11 firmware update with One UI 3.0 arrives on Samsung Galaxy S20
Starting December, Verizon has pushed stable Android 11 update for its locked Samsung Galaxy S20 models in the US. Following its release, Samsung has also started delivering the latest One UI 3.0/Android 11 firmware for the Galaxy S20 units without carrier branding globally.
The South Korean tech firm has not taken a short time compared to other smartphone makers in providing this major Android 11 platform upgrade for its first eligible Galaxy S20 units. The result is in front of everyone, till now, Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra have received the One UI 3.0 version via OTA in numerous countries.

According to the latest information, Samsung has begun sending a new One UI 3.0 build for the Galaxy S20 series smartphones. The latest update can be identified via build version CTL1 which is rolling out by the network carriers in several European countries including Germany, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Romania, and France.

- G980FXXU5CTL1/G981BXXU5CTL1 – Samsung Galaxy S20
- G985FXXU5CTL1/G986BXXU5CTL1 – Samsung Galaxy S20+
- G988BXXU5CTL1 – Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra
Samsung One UI 3.0 is built on Google’s Android 11 that comes with several exciting new features and changes in the user interface including the Home screen and quick panel. It also brings performance improvements to open apps quicker while spending less power on the tasks.

- Android 11/One UI 3.0 is now ready to install on your Samsung Galaxy S20, S20+, or S20 Ultra phone.
- Open Device Settings
- Find the Software updates option
- Tap on Download and install button.
