According to the info, the South Korea tech firm changed the Rewards points structure and informed that Samsung Pay users will not earn Rewards points for transactions or any other purchases. This new change will take effect from the first date of next year.

Besides, the Rewards points will continue as previous for other apps except for Samsung Pay. The Rewards points will be collected through Samsung.com, Samsung Shop app, Galaxy Store, as well as other Samsung services and applications.

“As of 12/31/2020 at 11:59 PM PST, you will no longer earn Rewards points for Samsung Pay transactions and gift card purchases. This also means that Samsung Rewards Tiers no longer hold any benefits and we will be ending our Tier program for the time being. However, points can still be earned at Galaxy Store, Samsung.com, Shop app, and with other Samsung services and applications.” – Samsung Pay users got this information via email.
