Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Tab A (8.4-inch) getting new software updates [Verizon]

Verizon is now rolling out new software updates to Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e and Tab A 8.4″ in the US. The latest update brings system security improvements and enhancements to boost the user experience.

These updates come with firmware versions: T727VVRS1CTK1 and T307USQS4BTK2 for the Galaxy Tab S5e and Galaxy Tab A 8.4″ respectively.

To increase the system security, it installs the December 2020 security patch on Galaxy Tab S5e. On the other hand, Galaxy Tab A 8.4″ gets June 2020’s security patch.

HERE’S HOW TO UPDATE MANUALLY:

December/June 2020 security update is now ready to install on your Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e or Tab A 8.4″.

  • Open Device Settings
  • Find the Software updates option
  • Tap on Download and install button.
