Latest security update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy A21 in the US

Samsung has released the December 2020 security patch for the Galaxy A21 smartphones a few days ago. This device is now getting the latest security update in the US. Sprint locked and without carrier bounded Galaxy A21 are now eligible to install the newer security patch.

Sprint Galaxy A21 gets firmware update with version number A215USQU2ATL3 while the unlocked phones collecting A215U1UEU2ATL1 build version. The latest security patch increases the device security and brings system feature enhancements for a better user experience.

The Galaxy A21 is currently running on Android 10 and eligible to get the Android 11 based One UI 3.0. As per the official update roadmap, the budget smartphones of the A and M series will start receiving Android 11 updates from March 2021.

For now, the December 2020 security patch is ready to install for the Galaxy A21 users in the US. Just head to device Settings, then select Sofware updates, and click on Download and install.
