December 2020 security update rolling out for Samsung Galaxy A30

Numerous Samsung devices have already received the latest security patches while some are still getting new OTAs. According to the info, Samsung Galaxy A30 smartphones are joining the December 2020 security patch updated device list.

This new firmware comes with a build version of A305FDDU6BTL1. It installs the newer security patches released in December 2020 which keeps your device protected against 18 moderate and 2 high levels of CVEs. Adding to this, it also brings enhancements to the system features for a better user experience.

The Galaxy A30 is currently running on Android 10 and eligible to get the Android 11 based One UI 3.0. As per the official update roadmap, the budget smartphones of the A and M series will start receiving Android 11 updates from March 2021. For now, the December 2020 security patch is ready to install for the Galaxy A30 devices.
