Verizon releases a new software update for the Samsung Galaxy A50

In December 2020, Samsung Galaxy A50 smartphone users have got the Android 10 based One UI 2.5 update with plenty of new features, after a long wait. And now, Verizon has completed its additional testing and rolling out November 2020 security patch update to carrier-locked Galaxy A50 phones in the U.S.

According to the latest news, Galaxy A50 getting the latest security patch update with a software version of A505USQS9BTJ7. The official changelog doesn’t mention anything except for the latest security patch, so it is clear that the update doesn’t bring any new features.

If you also have a Galaxy A50 smartphone and it is locked on Verizon carrier, check for the update notification, is the notification not arrived yet then check for the update manually by following the steps given below.

  • Tap Settings.
  • Software update.
  • Download and install.
  • Wait for the device to check for updates.
  • Tap OK > Start.
