Samsung Galaxy S21 series has been officially released with a new Galaxy SmartTag.

What is SmartTag?

Bluetooth powered SmartTags attach easily to keys, bags, or even the family pet. If you think your lost item is nearby but can’t quite find it, tap the ring button on your mobile and follow the familiar sound of your ringtone calling for you at the volume you set. This process is encrypted to protect the privacy of other Galaxy owners.

Smart Tags can control various IoT devices with just a click of a button, so you can turn on the lights in your home before you even step inside. SmartTags have a Bluetooth range of 120m.

Samsung said that the Galaxy Smart Tag will go on sale on January 29 at a retail price of $30. Also, anyone who pre-orders any new Galaxy S21 model between today and 28 January will get the Galaxy Smart Tag for free.
