Samsung One UI Home update brings new folder grids, bug fixes, and more

The One UI is a custom skin developed by Samsung for its various smartphones and tablets. Every single Galaxy device runs on the Android OS-based One UI that allows users to customize their phone perfectly. On the other hand, the system launcher of Galaxy handsets called One UI Home that also lets users launch apps and arrange the home screen.

Now, as per the latest info, the company is rolling out a new One UI Home app update that brings some new functions as well as optimizations. Furthermore, it comes with fixes for bugs and stability improvements for a better overall user experience. Apart from this, the new One UI Home update enhances the performance of swipe gestures.

The newly added function can be found in the home screen settings menu. Just pinch the home screen and select the Settings menu then tap on the Folder grid option. Here, you can find two different layouts including 3X4 and 4X4. If you like larger app icons then select the 3X4 option while the 4X4 layout will decrease the size of the icons in the folder.

The Korean tech giant has already pushed the latest One UI Home update and users can check for it through the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store. If you have not yet received any One UI Home update, then you have to wait for some time because it is a staged rollout.
