Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra’s camera scores lower than Galaxy S20 Ultra: DXOMARK

On January 14, 2021, Samsung unveiled its next generation of the Galaxy S series smartphones. The Galaxy S21 lineup consists of three premium phones including the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. However, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is the true flagship offering from Samsung having support for S Pen, 108MP quad camera with 100x Space Zoom, two telephoto cameras, and many more.

According to the latest information, DXOMARK announced the camera score of the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Moreover, the DXOMARK listing shows that the top variant of the Galaxy S21 series achieved just 121 points while the US banned Huawei’s Mate 40 Pro+ remains on top with 139 points for the camera.

 

 

On the other hand, DXOMARK said that the camera performance of the Galaxy S21 Ultra is good. Besides, the overall target exposure is accurate, the dynamic range is very wide, and the highlights and shadows of the frame show good details. In low light conditions, the skin tones and colors look good but the saturation decreases.

Furthermore, the S21 Ultra’s ultra-wide camera delivers a wide field of view but like the main wide-angle lens, the noise has a negative impact on image quality. DXOMARK believes that the telephoto camera did not achieve the amazing effect that consumers imagined with the dual telephoto camera.
