Samsung Galaxy A82 5G appears on Geekbench with Snapdragon 855+ and Android 11
Back in 2019, Samsung launched the Galaxy A80 smartphone that features an innovative sliding and rotating camera technology. Its cameras can shoot both front and back sides. However, the company had not launched its successor – Galaxy A81 in 2020.
Further, some reports surfaced online suggesting that the Korean tech giant preparing to unveil the successor of the Galaxy A80 that may be called the Galaxy A82 later this year. However, more Galaxy A series phones including the Galaxy A22 5G, A52, and A72 are on the way.

According to the latest information, an unreleased Samsung device with model number SM-A826S has recently appeared on a popular benchmark site – Geekbench. As per the naming habit of the company, it may be called the Galaxy A82 5G.
Besides, the benchmark database also revealed that it equips a two year older Snapdragon 855+ chipset supported by 6GB of RAM. Moreover, the device could come pre-installed with the latest Android 11-based One UI 3.x.
However, the Galaxy A80 has not gained great success even it features a unique pop-up camera that makes its design quite interesting.
