Back in July 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite tablet which comes with Android 10-based One UI 2.1 out of the box. Further, the company delivered the One UI 2.5 update to these tablets that has added several new features alongside major system optimizations.

Now, as per the latest information, the South Korean tech giant begun releasing a new software update for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite. This update includes the Android 11-based One UI 3.x version which is also the first major Android upgrade for this device. Along with this, it also installs the latest Android patches (March 2021) to improve system security.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S6 LTE has also started getting the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update by skipping the One UI 3.0 version. So, we can surely expect that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is also receiving the One UI 3.1 features with this FOTA.

Users of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite can identify the Android 11 upgrade through the release number P615XXU4CUBB. A few things to be noted that the company is initially rolling out this update in France and it will cross the boundaries of France in the coming days. Also, you can check for the update manually by jumping to the device Settings, then tapping on the Software updates menu, and finally hit on Download and install button.
