New Samsung Galaxy S20 FE running Android 11 clears Wi-Fi Alliance certification
Back in September 2020, Samsung unveiled the Galaxy S20 FE, an affordable smartphone with flagship hardware and software capabilities. This device gained an impressive response from the consumers because of its premium features at a lesser price. Meanwhile, it looks like the company is preparing to unveil another variant of the Galaxy S20 FE as an unreleased phone approved by a certification site.
According to the latest info, a new Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G780G has passed Wi-Fi Alliance certification recently. However, the documents have not revealed any hardware functionalities but it shows that this device running on Android 11. Furthermore, there are two models listed in the supporting documents including single SIM and dual SIM.

As per the naming habit of the company, it will be another variant of the Galaxy S20 FE as the current devices carry model numbers: SM-G780F and SM-G781B for the 4G and 5G versions respectively. Accordingly, we can expect that the newly certified handset will be launched in few select countries.
Moreover, it is expected that the new Galaxy S20 FE will offer similar functionalities compared to the current models except for the upgraded Android version out of the box. It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy S20 FE users have already received the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update back in December 2020. Besides, the Korean phone maker is continuously expanding the One UI 3.1 update for these handsets.
