Samsung’s SmartThings service allows Galaxy users to control and monitor their smart devices from their smartphones and tablets such as turning on the lights, locate lost devices, and more.

It was reported that the Korean tech giant is planning to put its SmartThings application on the Microsoft Store. Just like the Amazon Alexa, Samsung SmartThings lets users control smart homes from a PC, including non-Samsung devices.

Now, as per the latest information, Samsung has officially released the SmartThings application for Windows users and they can check it in the Microsoft Store on their PCs.

However, the SmartThings gets listed in the Microsoft Store but it is currently not available to download. And it is expected that the app store may start allowing users to download SmartThings in the coming days or weeks.

The launch of the SmartThings application will be a useful supplement to the Windows platform because it currently lacks dedicated applications for smart hardware from actual device makers.

Apart from this, Samsung Messaging and Samsung Free newsfeed app have recently launched in the Microsoft Store and the company will unveil the most awaited Samsung Quick Sharing app for desktop users soon.
