Samsung Galaxy A22 5G will equip 48MP quad-camera setup: Report
Samsung has recently launched its cheapest 5G smartphone – Galaxy A32 5G, to capture the rising era of 5G era connectivity. Aside from this, the company has another affordable 5G handset in the works that was appeared online last year when Samsung registered its name, the Galaxy A22 5G.
After the evidence for 5G connectivity, we now have the expected camera specifications for the upcoming 5G handset. According to TheElec, the Galaxy A22 5G will equip a quad rear camera setup including a 48MP primary camera, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro sensor, and 2MP depth lens, plus a 13MP camera on the front for selfies.
Moreover, the report also suggests that the rear cameras are supplied by Samsung Electro-Mechanics while CoAsia is providing the front camera module for the Galaxy A22. A thing to be noted, Samsung Electro-Mechanics also reportedly supplied camera modules for the Galaxy A52 and A72 that will be launched tomorrow.

Previously, it was reported that the South Korean tech giant will launch the Galaxy A22 in both 4G and 5G connectivity variants. Under the hood, the 5G version is likely to be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset that can surely help the company to reduce the manufacturing cost. Besides, Samsung may offer the A22 in four different color options such as gray, light green, purple, and white.
According to the reports, the Galaxy A22 5G may be the cheapest 5G offering from Samsung that may cost lesser than the Galaxy A32 5G($330). However, the company has not yet confirmed the existence of this model while we will surely get new leaks and information on this topic in the coming days.
