Breaking: Samsung’s mini roadmap reveals several upcoming devices, Galaxy S21 FE to launch on August 19
Samsung has recently launched its three new smartphones – Galaxy A52, A52 5G, and A72 at the Galaxy Awesome Unpacked event. However, it’s just the company’s second Unpacked of 2021 and we’ll see more launch events this year. Meanwhile, a reliable source shared the product roadmap that confirms several upcoming gadgets that will launch in the near future.
According to Evan Blass (via Voice), the South Korean tech giant will hold another Unpacked event on April 14, 2021, where the company will unveil new computing devices such as Chrome-powered Galaxy Chromebook and Windows-powered Galaxy Book laptops.
June 2021:
However, there will be no event scheduled in May, while the OEM will introduce an affordable variant of the Galaxy Tab S7 flagship tablets, the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite in June this year. Samsung started releasing the affordable tablets with the Galaxy Tab S5e and later it was succeeded by the last year’s Galaxy Tab S6 Lite.
July 2021:
After launching a cheaper flagship tablet, Samsung is expected to launch another Galaxy A series device that will be the successor to the Galaxy A21 and Galaxy A21s in July 2021. It is worth mentioning that the Galaxy A22 5G has already leaked several times and it will also debut in both 4G and 5G variants.
Aside from the leaked roadmap, Evan said that the company has not mentioned another Galaxy A series phone – the Galaxy A82 5G that is likely to be unveiled during around the same period as the Galaxy A22. Moreover, this handset may be equipped with an innovative rotating camera setup, just like the Galaxy A80 that was launched back in 2019.
August 19, 2021:
And finally, the most-anticipated Galaxy S21 FE, the affordable variant of the latest Galaxy S21 flagships will be introduced on August 19, 2021, wait wait, but it’s the time for Galaxy Unpacked for Note! Confused, right? I can explain, Samsung CEO has recently confirmed that there’s no plan for the next Galaxy Note phones during the second half due to a shortage of parts and semiconductors.
So, it is another evidence that authenticates that Samsung will not launch the Galaxy Note 21 series this year but it will hold the Galaxy Unpacked event at the same time where the Galaxy S21 FE will go official. Therefore, if we take a look at the previous leaks and reports from Evan, we’ll find a good track that’s why he is known as a reliable source.
We’ll keep you posted when any new information comes on this matter.
