Verizon Samsung Galaxy S10 One UI 3.1 update rollout begins!

Back in January 2021, the Samsung Galaxy S10 series has started getting the major Android 11-based One UI 3.0 update. And just after a month, the company has released the One UI 3.1 version for these models that was introduced alongside the Galaxy S21 series.

After providing the One UI 3.1 update to the international variants of the Galaxy S10 units, Verizon and Samsung is now rolling out this major software update to the Snapdragon-powered Galaxy S10 models in the US. The carrier has also included the March 2021 security patch with this OTA.

Based on Android 11, the One UI 3.1 comes with plenty of new features including private share, object eraser, Eye Comfort Shield, video call effects, remove the location of images before sharing, Director’s view, and much more. [One UI 3.1 Changelog]

Moreover, Samsung One UI 3.1 lets users extend their phone to desktop PC using Samsung’s Wireless DeX feature. And the integrated Google Duo adds support for HDR, Beauty features, and improved low-light video calls. Besides, the compatible Galaxy Buds will seamlessly switch between your Galaxy phone and tablet running on One UI 3.1.

If you haven’t received the latest software on your device via OTA then you can also check for the update manually by navigating to device Settings > Software updates > then click on Download and install.
