T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S20 One UI 3.1 update rollout begins!
Just after the official announcement of Google’s Android 11 operating system, Samsung also began working to provide the next generation of Android OS to various Galaxy devices. Therefore, the company announced the One UI 3 beta program for the Galaxy S20 series back in October 2020 and further extended this activity for other flagships and mid-rangers.
Moving forward, the South Korean tech giant rolled out the stable Android 11-based One UI 3.0 firmware update to dozens of Galaxy devices including phones and tablets with various new features and optimizations. Aside from this, the company is continuously rolling out with the latest version of the One UI that was debuted with the Galaxy S21 flagships.
T-Mobile pushed One UI 3.1 for Galaxy S20 series:
According to the latest information, T-Mobile pushed the One UI 3.1 firmware update for the Samsung Galaxy S20 series smartphones in the US. This update comes with build versions: G988USQU1DUB5, G986USQU1DUB5, and G981USQU1DUB5 for the Galaxy S20 Ultra, S20+, and S20 respectively. Furthermore, it also installs the February 2021 security patch for better device security.
One UI 3.1 Features:
Samsung One UI 3.1 is a newer iteration of the One UI 3.0 which brings various new camera features, enhancements for Calendar, Messages, Duo, and Dex as well as Eye comfort shield and Game Priority mode.
Based on Android 11, Samsung One UI 3.1 allows users to remove the location of images before sharing and brings several new features including private share, object eraser, integrated Google Duo, video call effects, and more.
HOW TO CHECK FOR UPDATES:
Check for the latest update manually by heading to your device’s Settings, then click on Software updates, and finally hit on Download and install.
