Samsung One UI 3.1 comes with a set of new call vibration patterns
Back in December 2020, Samsung officially introduced the third-generation of its self-developed custom skin – One UI 3.0 based on Google’s Android 11 OS. At the same time, the company began releasing this major update to the Galaxy S20 series in South Korea and further expanded its availability to various regions.
Moving forward, the South Korean tech giant launched the Galaxy S21 series that was exclusively come with One UI 3.1 out of the box. Samsung One UI 3.1 is an upgraded version of the One UI 3.0 and it is also based on Android 11, plus it brings some new smart features for increased user experience.
Aside from this, the company has impressively managed to provide the One UI 3.1 features to the compatible Galaxy device users with new firmware updates. One of the top features of this version is the “Call vibration pattern”, which allows users to adjust the vibration feedback when a phone call arrives.
With the One UI 3.1 update, Galaxy users can set the vibration pattern when someone calls and when there’s a notification comes in. There are a number of call vibration patterns available so you can choose one of them as per your preference.
New call vibration patterns:
- Basic call, Heartbeat, Ticktock, Waltz, Zig-zig-zig, Off-beat, Spinning, Siren, Telephone, Ripple, Bounce, Tap, Dubstep, Fireworks, Gallop, Shuffle, and Spring.
Here’s how to set a call vibration pattern:
- From the Home screen, touch Apps.
- Touch Settings.
- Tap on Sounds and vibration.
- Hit Call vibration pattern.
- Chose among 17 different patterns.
- Touch the preloaded vibration pattern you want to use and touch OK.
