Samsung Galaxy Note 10 starts getting One UI 3.1 update in Canada

Last month, Samsung has begun sending One UI 3.1 features for the Galaxy Note 10 and S10 series alongside March 2021 security update, and now the company is expanding the availability of this firmware to more smartphone markets.

According to the latest info, the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ locked on Telus, Rogers, Fido Mobile, etc. have started getting the latest Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in Canada over the air.

Users can now identify the update via release versions: N970WVLU6FUBH and N975WVLU6FUBH for the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ respectively. Since it’s an initial rollout so it may take a while to cover every Galaxy Note 10 unit in Canada.

Along with the One UI 3.1, it also installs the latest Android patches in order to increase the system security against different levels of threats and vulnerabilities. Below, you can check the new features that come with this FOTA.

One UI 3.1:

The Galaxy Note 10/10+ users are now able to remove metadata that reveals the location of photos before you share them, Eye Comfort Shield that automatically adjusts the blue light based on the time of day, Private Share, and more. However, it’s a huge size software then it is suggested that you should update your Galaxy Note 10 or Note 10+ over a Wi-Fi connection. In addition, you can also check for the updates manually by navigating to your device Settings, then select the Software updates menu and finally tap on Download and install.

Galaxy S10 One UI 3.1: Canada

Aside from this, the Canadian carriers have recently confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10, and Galaxy S10+ will start getting the One UI 3.1 update from March 30, 2021. Read more here
