Samsung releases Galaxy S21′ smart camera features for Galaxy S20 FE 5G

Recently, Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and S20 series have started getting a huge camera firmware update, which adds some additional camera features from the latest Galaxy S21 series. However, these devices getting new features in different phases and the company is continuously expanding the availability of this firmware as well.

According to the latest information, the Galaxy S20 FE 5G smartphone users have begun receiving a new software update in various European countries including Germany, Italy, Poland, Netherlands, and Switzerland. As reported, this new update brings some new and smart camera features from the Galaxy S21 flagships.

The Galaxy S20 FE 5G users are now able to use new effects in the Portrait mode as well as shoot with ultra-wide camera in the Pro mode. Just like the Galaxy Note 20 and S20’s firmware update, it also lacks the Director’s View camera feature and remains exclusive for the Galaxy S21 models.

A few things to be noted that the Galaxy S20 FE 5G still not allowed to capture images through Portrait mode in low light conditions. Furthermore, the option to choose the highest possible exposure time in the Night mode is also missing.

Just like every time, the Korean tech giant is sending this new firmware update in different batches and it will be available widely in the coming days. Also, currently, only the 5G variant of the Galaxy S20 FE is getting the new camera features.

You can check for the update manually by jumping to the device Settings, then tapping on the Software updates menu, and finally hit on Download and install button.
