Samsung is now rolling out the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy A70 smartphones. Besides, it also installs the March 2021 security patch to increase device security. You can check the features and update steps below.

Back in March 2019, Samsung launched the Galaxy A70 smartphone that comes with Android 9 Pie-based One UI 1.1. According to the company’s major update policy, the Galaxy A70 is compatible to get two generations of major Android upgrades. And it has already received the first Android update as Android 10-based One UI 2.x.

According to the latest information, the South Korean tech giant has started to roll out the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update to the Galaxy A70 smartphones. Nowadays, the eligible Galaxy devices running One UI 2.5 are directly getting the One UI 3.1 version with Android 11 update.

The Galaxy A70 users can identify this update via firmware version A705FNXXU5DUC6 and it also brings system security improvements by installing the latest One UI patches released in March 2021. Since it’s an initial rollout so it may take some time to be available widely.

Introduced along with the Galaxy S21 series, the One UI 3.1 comes with some amazing features including Eye Comfort Shield, Object Eraser, Private Share, Samsung Free, Google Duo integration with stock dialer app, buds Auto Switching, ability to remove location data before sharing, and more.
