Samsung could soon launch new Galaxy S20 FE 4G with Snapdragon 865 processor

Just after six months of releasing the Galaxy S20 FE LTE, Samsung launched the Snapdragon 865 powered 5G variant of this device in India. Meanwhile, it looks like the company has another variant of the S20 FE that could be launched soon in select regions.

According to the latest information, an unreleased Samsung smartphone having model number SM-G780G appeared on a popular benchmark platform – Geekbench. The listing revealed that this device is powered by Snapdragon 865 processor coupled with 6GB RAM and Android 11-based One UI 3.x.

Aside from this, Samsung has also published a support page for the Galaxy S20 FE LTE on its official websites of Malaysia, the Caribbean, the Philippines, and UK. The support page listing also shows the same model number SM-G780G/DS.

Moreover, this upcoming smartphone with the same model number was previously spotted on WFA (Wi-Fi Alliance) website exposing its single and dual-SIM capabilities.

Galaxy S20 FE: Specs [Expected]

If we look at the other models of the Galaxy S20 FE then it is quite easy to tell the specifications for its upcoming 4G variant, as it’s just the same phone that we have seen earlier. So it could be featuring a 6.5-inch FHD+ sAMOLED display, 12MP+12MP+8MP triple-camera setup, and much more.

Other usual features will include, an in-display fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, IP68 rating, USB Type-C port, and 4,500mAh battery including a 25W fast charger.

Launch And Availability

By taking a look at the recent trend, Samsung is expected to launch the new Galaxy S20 FE 4G with Snapdragon 865 and Android 11 very soon. Meanwhile, its other variants are already available in various regions so it will be quite eminent that this will only be shipped in few markets.
