Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition uses Samsung’s hyperboloid flexible screen

Along with smartphones, Samsung also works on different tech segments such as display panels, semiconductors, camera lenses, SSDs, RAMs, home appliances, and many more. However, several OEMs also adopt Samsung’s own developed screens, processors, as well as camera sensors.

Now, new information reveals that Realme’s latest smartphone the X7 Pro Extreme Edition equipped with a 3D flexible curved screen supplied by Samsung. Moreover, the report also suggests that it may be the cheapest Samsung flexible screen on phone in the market to date.

Realme X7 Pro Extreme Edition sports Samsung’s 6.55″ FHD+ hyperboloid flexible screen with a 90Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling. In China, this smartphone launched yesterday with a starting price of 2,299 yuan (nearly 350.06 USD).

Aside from this, the Korean tech maker has recently announced that it has supplied its OLED panels with an adaptive refresh rate to Chinese companies including Oppo and OnePlus.

Furthermore, Asus’ latest ROG Phone 5 gaming phone features a 6.78-inch OLED display supplied by Samsung Display. It offers up to 144Hz refresh rate and specially optimized for game content with fast screen switching.
